+ GUI program, display limited address in kernel memory, and file “Tcpip.sys”. For compatibility, only display low part in 64bit OS.
* Fixed: unknown file limited value in Windows 7 Build 6.1.6936.0, and Windows 2003 5.2.3790.4331.
* Fixed: file patch Fail in windows XP SP3, because unable disable WFP.

* GUI program, Remove the function of disable WFP, because Compatibility of this code is not so good.
And because there is no disabled SFC, patch file will not to a 100% success, because Windows will automatically resume tcpip.sys.

Have to patch twice. The backup in \system32\dllcache\tcpip.sys too to prevent auto resume or del \dllcache\tcpip.sys while patching

Open tcpip.sys with sharemode 0, del \dllcache\tcpip.sys, then try to patch, OK!
But it will popup a comfirm window. I will try to find a method to get rid of it.

disable WFP, SFC System File Protection at the moment when apply the patch could work to mute the popup info

This is really good stuff! I am using the driver version in Vista SP2 beta, and it works great. I also use the EXE to monitor my number of connections and dl/ul speed.

Is the TCP-Z graph (top half) documented anywhere? What does Create Depth mean and what is its significance?
Also, for all three indicators (Established, Half Open, and Create Depth), what does the number on the left of the slash mean as opposed to the one on the right? In the case of Half Open, I'm guessing it's # established currently / highest # used, but for the other two I don't really know.
Finally, has it been shown anywhere that having a high half-open ceiling really matters anymore in terms of performance? I know in the case of uTorrent 1.81, it defaults to 8, and I don't really think my speeds with it increase whether it's on 8, 80, or 800 (on a patched system). And if it is on 8, you won't get any Event IE 4226 errors either (on an unpatched system), which was the original purpose of this kind of tool.

Create Depth - Create Rate Limit Depth
If "Create Depth" exceed "Memory Limited", Windows will pause to create new
connection, and send a 4226 event.
2, As you said, 5/10, means: currently / highest. The format of all the items
are similar.
3, When highest value of "Create Depth" reach the value of "Memory Limited",
it means that need to increase "Memory Limited".
If the New Connection failure rate is low, then you increase the "Memory
Limit" does not increase your download speed.
Some download software, such as Thunder, the failure rate of new connections
will be very high, at this time to increase the "Memory Limit" will increase
download speed.
Some people need to run more than one task in the same time, such as BT,
eMule, P2P TV, etc. , so it is necessary to initiate more connections at the
same time.
And not all of the software with a option to adjust new connection rate.
This tool does not directly increase network bandwidth, it can only make full
use of bandwidth.

Also, while I understand what "Create Depth" is now, that's what I thought "Half Open" was. That is, I thought it was when the Half Open number exceeded your maximum is when a 4226 occurs. Apparently that's not the case. How do the two terms differ?
None of available parameter to track the New Connection failure rate.
You can only judge on their own, if the New Connection rate high, only a low value of Establish Connection, it means the failure rate is high.
In fact, tcpip.sys does not directly compare the half-open connection number and the Memory limited value, but compare the "create rate limit depth" number and the Memory limited value.
Half-open connection is a connection with signature "SYN_SENT"; but "create rate limit depth" is not number of connection, it is just a rate.
In NT5, because they are closer to the values, so we regard it as the same thing.

Hi, great work, too bad I discovered this right afrer I patched my tpcip.sys in the "old" way. I use ReadyDriver Plus anyway, due PeerGuardian2, so I will keep your tool for the next time :)
And I noticed one thing: you write "The arrow in the Chart of TCP-Z needs font Wingdings 3...". Don't know which chart do you mean, but I have this font installed and even though green arrow down in the chart od speed is replaced by green rectangle.
Just noticing, no rush to fix this "fatal error" :)

Yes, you get it, the chart and the arrow as you point to.
to be more clear in the tcp-z connection graph maybe you should use a label:
"half-open created per second" (or whatever unit of time is correct)
instead of "create depth"

i tryed it in win 8 64 bit with gui but cant press apply button then tryed virtual device and when i go to properties it sais alwas current limit unknown and when i press 252 and save exit and re enter it still sais unknown and the value box is emtpy i was using this on win 7 was working like a charm, anyway ty in advance for any advice
